A bangle should slide over your knuckles with a little resistance, then rest easily on your wrist. Measure once, order with confidence, never send it back.
Pick whichever is easiest — a string, a measuring tape, or a bangle that already fits you well.
Wrap a soft measuring tape or string around your knuckles (the widest part of your hand, where a bangle has to pass). Mark where it overlaps, then lay it flat against a ruler in centimetres. That's your circumference — match it in the chart below.
Lay a bangle you already wear comfortably flat on a table. Measure straight across the inside, from one inner edge to the other. That's your diameter — compare it directly against the diameter column.
Cut a strip of paper, wrap it snugly around your knuckles, mark the overlap, then measure the length flat against a ruler. Add 0.5cm for comfortable movement, then check the chart.

Measurements are standard industry approximations. If you're between two sizes, we recommend sizing up for comfort.
Always measure across your knuckles, not your wrist. A bangle has to pass over your hand before it settles on your wrist, so the knuckle measurement is what determines whether it fits.
Choose the larger size. A slightly loose bangle is comfortable and easy to wear; a slightly tight one can be difficult to put on or remove.
Rigid metal bangles need a size that clears your knuckles exactly, while glass and lac bangles are traditionally worn a touch snugger since they don't flex. If you're ordering glass, consider sizing to your exact measurement rather than rounding up.
Yes — write your exact diameter or circumference measurement in the order notes and our artisans will size it for you.
