This is our densest surface. Large kundan rosettes sit at regular intervals down the band, each encircled by a ring of hand-set coloured petals — magenta, purple, emerald, teal and mustard on the ivory base, deep red on the crimson. Between the rosettes, square kundan stones and seed-pearl rows fill every remaining millimetre.

Nothing on this piece is machine-applied. A single kada takes a full day of one karigar’s stone-setting time.
